Successful Federal Association Day in Rostock

Successful Federal Association Day in Rostock

Overview of the events

  • Traditionally, the press reception of the Federal Association has been the first highlight of the program of the Federal Association for many years. As a summary of the positive response from last year, this year's press reception was again scheduled shortly before the lucky tour was received. In addition to the current topics of the chimney sweep craft, the press representatives were particularly interested in the great achievement of the lucky tour cyclists. They covered some 1,000 km in favor of children with cancer on their way to Rostock, collecting money on their tour and distributing funds to numerous relief organizations and institutions on the way. The temporal consolidation of the press reception with the arrival of the Glückstour and the involvement of Ralf Heibrok as representative of the Glückstour in the press conference creates valuable synergy effects.

  • Immediately after receiving the lucky tour, the chimney sweep fair was opened. There, the approximately 60 exhibitors presented the more than 1,000 chimney sweeps, trade fair visitors, guests and partners with products and services related to chimney sweeping.
  • The next big event was the delegates' conference, where the reports of the individual board members, in particular of the president Oswald Wilhelm (4th from left), stood in the foreground. A very special highlight this year may well have been the premiere of the short film on newcomer advertising in the style of the hit movie "James Bond - Casino Royale", which was shown during the delegates' conference and the public event. With this short film, which was created especially for the viral distribution on the social media, commits the Federal Association of the chimney sweep trade a new way of recruitment advertising and tries specifically with an upbeat eye catcher, the young target group for the apprenticeship of the chimney sweep (m / w / d) to be interested. Under the hashtag #nimmdeinglueckselbstindiehand the film has already been widely distributed (eg Facebook approx. 100,000 people) via the ZIV website, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.
  • The final highlight of the 135th Federal Association Day was the Public Event with greetings from federal, state and local politics, such as: Dr. Fuchs from the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (6th from left), the President of the Chamber of Crafts Ostmecklenburg-Western Pomerania Axel Hochschild and Ministerialrat Joachim Garrecht from the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi). The keynote lecture on the subject of "self-sufficient buildings" by Professor Dipl.-Ing. Timo Leukefeld (5th from left). The media-present engineer and energy expert from Freiberg presented his future concept for networked, energy self-sufficient living and quite bluntly predicted how the domestic heat supply of the future will look like. In his opinion, so-called gigawatt factories (Tesla) will in future provide climate-friendly solar power in large quantities at the lowest prices. He went on to say that heat generation in Germany can only be achieved if it is designed to be open to the public.
